Cape Cod Chorale is pleased to announce that once again a $1,000 scholarship is being offered to a graduating senior who plans to major in music in college, whether that be in music education, theory, composition, music management, conducting, music history, performance, etc. from one of the following high schools:

• Barnstable High School
• Cape Cod Academy
• Mashpee High School
• Sandwich High School
• Sturgis High School

We will announce the name of this year’s recipient at the second of our spring concerts, which will take place April 28 and 29. Click here to download an application for this scholarship.

The deadline for the receipt of all completed application forms and supporting documents, by mail, is Friday, April 6, 2018.

Come join us in singing in the Cape Cod Chorale, Singing Joyfully in Community since 1982!

We are preparing for our holiday concerts on Saturday, December 9th and Sunday, December 10th (Sunday’s concert followed by reception).

Rehearsals for the December concerts begin on Monday, September 11. Our first two rehearsals are a great time to check us out! You don’t have to be able to read music – you can learn that. You do need to be able to carry a tune in a bucket! We are a very friendly chorus and have a lot of fun rehearsing. We work hard, too, to make beautiful music.  

Join us for open rehearsals on Monday, September 11 or September 18, 7-9 pm, at First Church Sandwich, Main Street, Sandwich.

Our holiday concert is:

• What Sweeter Music – Sounds of the Season, including Sing-Along Hallelujah!, from Handel’s Messiah
• Magnificat – Durante
• Music of John Rutter, Handel, Lauridsen, Mendelssohn, and sing along carols arranged by David Willcocks

Accompanied by strings, brass, piano, and timpani.
