The Cape Cod Chorale is a community chorus comprised of about 65 SATB voices, with membership drawn from middle and upper Cape Cod communities, from Chatham to Falmouth, truly representing the Cape Cod Community. The goal of the Chorale is to promote the beauty of choral music and to provide people who love to sing the opportunity to raise their voices in harmony. Membership is open to all without an audition. Each year the Chorale provides a scholarship to one or more graduating high school seniors who will be going on to pursue a degree in music.
Since 1982 the Cape Cod Chorale has pleased audiences with a wide range of classical and contemporary choral works. Each year the Chorale presents several concert series of two performances each in varying Cape venues. We rehearse seriously, we sing challenging pieces – and we have terrific fun doing so!
